Sweater Vest Trend

Ahh the sweater vest trend! I am sure almost everyone has seen that this has quickly become the trend of the season. Quite honestly, I would have never guessed that these would come back into style, but I was definitely wrong! And I have grown to love them! They are so versatile and can be styled in so many different ways. Here are the top 3 ways I would style a sweater vest for this winter season.

1. Pair a turtleneck underneath the sweater vest. This look keeps you warm while also making you look super stylish! I saw one of my favorite influencers Natalie Zacek (@nataliezacek on Instagram) posted pictures with the vest styled like this and I just absolutely love it!
2. Pair the sweater vest with a skirt or even over a dress. This is perfect for girls who live somewhere that is a little warmer during these winter months! And it can also work as a transition outfit for those who live somewhere where it does get cold.
3. Pair a collared shirt under the sweater vest. This is probably the most common way to style a sweater vest, but yet it looks so classy and elevated. Perfect for a day in the city, an interview or even brunch with the girls. I find myself gravitating to this most often but will definitely try and incorporate the other styles as well.
